Hi, my name is Alex, and I started working as a mental health counselor in graduate school over 10 years ago. Since this time I have worked in the public and private sectors, residential and outpatient settings and with clients of diverse backgrounds and concerns. My theoretical orientation is eclectic as I pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I work with individuals to address the whole self as our problems do not tend to exist in isolation. I provide an understanding and safe space for individuals to explore and identify the necessary habits to create the life, achieve the goals and experience the personal success they deserve.
